Ayrshire Coastal Path
The path opened officially in June and, along with other members of his OIR hillwalking group, I have had the pleasure and indeed the privilege of walking over a number of sections of the path both before and after it was officially opened, the walks being led by Willie Watters who played no small part in its creation. I take my hat off to him and the other members of the Rotary Club in Ayr who not only did the planning but also a substantial amount of the work on site (I suspect their families did not see a lot of the members involved while the work was ongoing).
